The paradox of guru worship

For example:
When he got divorced.
Even after his divorce, when it was clear (by his own words) he was the last person anyone should be getting dating, relationship, or marriage advice from… his marketing and business students would ask him about their dating, relationship, and marriage problems.
Same with their investing questions.
And, other questions he said he was unqualified to talk about.
But, that didn’t matter — because it’s just how people are.
When they find someone to learn from and they know, like, and trust that person, they tend to want to only learn from them.
Case in point:
Even though I am not a “list guy” I am constantly asked about list-building.
This, even though I wouldn’t even know how to run a Google ad, Facebook ad, YouTube ad, banner ad, or most any other kind of paid ad that is scalable if my dog’s life depended on it… the questions constantly comes in.
And, until recently, I never really had an answer.
I’d simply tell them the slow, tedious, and “meat & potato” list-building methods I use.
But, henceforth I will be sending all people who ask this question to my new “Email Players List Swell” book — which has built me a million dollar email list over many years that is, I believe, one of the most responsive in my industry. But, it’s also slow, intolerably tedious, takes quite a bit of work and patience, and there is nothing at-all “new” about anything inside it.
If you’re okay with that, then here’s the deal:
It is half off the price listed on the sales page until Sunday at midnight EDT.

Ben Settle
P.S. It’s made up of primarily the 3 “Email Players” issues I’ve written just on the subject (April 2016, February 2019, and March 2019 issues — which will never be available as back issues even if I do decide to offer back issues again some day to Email Players subscribers), plus every article I’ve written on the subject in various other issues over the past 8 years since 2011, along with any bonus trainings included in many issues with various traffic experts.
If you have those 3 main issues, you don’t need this book.
If you have one or two of them, you’ll have to determine whether it’s worth buying or not.
