Why Earl Nightingale is probably spinning in his grave
Published: Tue, 07/02/19
I got my start in business, and stuck with it via the lean times, primarily because of listening to his “Strangest Secret” cassette tape until it wore out. And, I have been not only been studying that again, but lots of his other recordings. Frankly, instead of watching yet another “heeeeeey Facebook… look at my cute life in a 3rd world country where I look rich living on $3 per day but can't afford even a small apartment in a small city in the US” livestream on flakebook, newer entrepreneurs would be better off watching Earl Nightingale videos, then learning the fundamentals of direct response marketing.
Specifically, Mr. N's teachings on the importance of ideas.
Here's what I mean:
One theme that comes up over and over in Earl Nightingale's recordings is the importance of constantly thinking up fresh, new ideas each day, since ideas are what drive businesses, personal wealth, and success. He even broke it down where, if you think up just 5 ideas per day, 5 days per week (if you choose not to think on weekends...) that’s over 1,000 ideas per year. And, since it only takes one idea to get you to your financial goals and beyond, then, as he put it:
“The law of averages
swing so much in your favor
you just can’t miss.”
(Assuming those ideas are *implemented*.)
Anyway, why am I babbling about this?
Because a while back, I was looking at the company he co-founded's site (Nightingale-Conant).
And, I found it ironic how it said:
===
New Product Development: “Nightingale-Conant is hard at work in creating several new products in the area of personal development, spiritual growth, wealth-building, mind development and wellness. Due to the overwhelming number of new product submissions that we have received in the past year, and the fact that our schedule of new releases is full for the next twelve months, we are not accepting any new product submissions at this time. If and when our policy should change, we will update this message. We appreciate your interest in Nightingale-Conant Corporation.”
===
tl;dr:
They’re not accepting new ideas.
Sheesh.
I suspect Earl Nightingale is spinning in his grave on his head in a circle like Larry in the Three Stooges used to do. Plus, there goes my fanboy hopes of pitching to them a comprehensive program based on my Villains books which, if I’m being realistic, wouldn’t have had an ice cube's chance of making it in their catalog anyway, due to the controversial subject matter alone.
Speaking of which:

P.S. Heads up to Email Players subscribers:
The July issue may not drop until as late as next week. The reason why is, I am including a special gift with your issue that is going to take longer to prep than I anticipated.
The printer is going to try to get it out faster than that.
But, it may not be until early next week.
So if it seems like it's taking longer than usual, that is why.
