Game of Bores

Yes, even with 1,000 apps on their phones.
Another 1,000 channels on TV.
And 1,000 more combined songs, games, parties, social events, books, audios, videos, and other assorted forms of entertainment, distractions, and stimulation bombarding their psyches at a pace the human brain probably was never designed to handle long term.
All this and people are still bored out of their gourds:
* at work
* at home
* at school
* in their relationships
* in their friendships
* with their new phones
* with social media
* Even with their favorite TV shows and movies — as the fallout from the popular show “Game Of Thrones” showed, with it being a big, fat disappointment to more than half the people who had invested years of their time and emotion into it, only to be let down with a boring ending.
But you know something?
There’s an extremely profitable business lesson here.
And that is how much of an advantage simply not being boring in your advertising, in your content, and in your business as a whole can give you in a age that Tony Robbins (correctly) declared is now an entertainment and not an information age, his recent media & publishing debacle notwithstanding.
He or she who is the most entertaining wins the game.
This applies to business, marketing, education, and even politics.
If this is something you want to get cerebral with and use in your own business then hear ye:
Tomorrow and through the weekend I’m launching my newest book called...
“Infotainment Jackpot”
It’s a heavily edited & updated version of my popular “Agora Tapes” product, but way different in many ways, with lots more added content, exhibits, lessons, training, insights, and applications to the business world.
In fact, here’s the biggest irony of it:
It’ll be one of my least expensive products, but is probably the most profitable skill I’ve honed, perfected, and used over the past 17 years of being in business.
Anyway, if that interests you, keep an eye out tomorrow.
It will be sold at a fat discount until Sunday.
And, as usual, I make no exceptions for people who miss deadlines.
Ben Settle
P.S. There will be no discount on this for prior customers of my old Agora Tapes product. It’s about 40% the same information as the Agora Tapes version. So if you have that version, you’ll have to determine if it’s worth buying this new one or not.
Either way, it’ll be on sale until Sunday night.
Also as usual... when I do a launch, expect lots and lots of emails.
If that is going to upset, annoy, or rattle you, simply delete them or, even better... scroll down to the bottom of any of these emails, tap that diabolical opt-out link, and remove yourself from the list.
