elBenbo's official eat-a-fan contest
Published: Sat, 06/01/19
I’m still toying with some of the details.
But, one small part of it will be Q&A’s.
And, to drum up intelligent questions — and not just the typical lazy goo-roo fanboy type questions you see people ask on social media — I am having a contest.
Here are the gory details:
This month I am writing a bonus novel of linked short stories for my Enoch Wars series. It will be part of the “Omega” edition I am putting together — which consists of all 7 novels in the series combined into one big book, along with the above linked short stories novel that have lots of the notes & ideas I wanted to include but couldn’t fit into the novels originally, various appendixes (appendices?) & timelines, character profiles, and some other things I’m cooking up for it.
Which brings me to the contest:
Whoever asks what I deem to be the best question to be answered on my upcoming new not-a-podcast-but-something-else by the fiendishly tight deadline below will get:
1. A free signed copy of my upcoming “Infotainment Jackpot” book which will retail for $391.00 after it launches next weekend.
2. A free signed copy of my upcoming “Email Players List Swell” book which will retail for $541.00 after it launches in July.
3. A free signed copy of the new hard cover edition of “Zombie Cop” (the first novel of the “Enoch Wars” series)
4. And last, but not least:
This unsung hero who asks the #1 best question for the upcoming show gets not only featured by name (and with a speaking role!) in one of the above short stories I’m writing this month… but will be killed & eaten by one of the monsters in it, too.
Now THAT is gratitude, baby...
But, listen carefully my little ghoul:
Only ONE question can be asked per person, so don't just brain fart it out. Put some thought into it. And, realize the deadline to get your question in is tomorrow (Sunday) by midnight EDT.
Any questions submitted after that will be ignored.
Yes, this is a tight DEADline indeed.
Also, one more thing:
If you are seeing this email after the deadline and get the urge to whine to me about how you have a life, you don’t check your emails every day, blah blah blah, save your energy. I have even less sympathy for procrastinators or people who do not read my emails each day and miss out on offers like this than the monsters in my novels do for their hapless victims.
So stab that reply button with your question if you dare.
And who knows?
You may have the privilege… the HONOR… of being eaten by one of my monsters…
Ben Settle
P.S. A "heads up" for "Email Players" subscribers:
Since May ended on a Friday, and the printer won't even be open until Monday, that means the earliest you can expect the June issue would be end of next week, but very likely it will be the middle or end of the following week, depending on mail delivery times, printing times, and other factors outside of anyone's control.
That said, if you have any questions about its arrival at any time, let me know.
