Why obeying the Despot of Deadlines can make you more sales

I answered his question privately.
(A perk for being a paid subscriber is you can ask questions...)
But, I will say this publicly:
I cannot possibly do justice to just how big a fan I am of deadlines. I’m an unrepentant despot with them -- as many a soul on my list has discovered when being locked out of a sale, discount, special bonus, etc due to their tardiness. Whoever first coined the term “nothing gets done without a deadline” wasn’t just whistlin’ dixie. Whenever I do any kind of deadline-based offer, it’s as predictable as lies from a politician’s lips when the vast majority of sales come in on the last day of the offer... and right smack dab up against the deadline.
But, membership sites are a unique duck with these.
Especially since, people often don't have obvious deadlines to join them.
That is, except for membership site owners wise enough to be subscribed in time for the May "Email Players" issue. On page 15 I reveal exactly what advice I gave to my customer that not only can make any membership site a lot more sales… but also make their retention rate a whale of a lot higher, too.
If you use membership sites, this advice can change everything.
And, make you one happy camper.
Speaking of deadlines…
I’m sending the May issue to the printer today in a bit.
Time is almost out.
