How big your list should be before selling a print newsletter

Published: Fri, 10/23/20

Came one of the most-asked questions I ever get around here:

“Ben, was your paid Email Players newsletter available when you started building your daily email list or did you build your list base to a certain size before introducing paid products? Thank you!”

Answer:

I started building a list first.

Then, I started selling continuity (A audio-of-the-month w/printed transcript way back in 2009) when I felt I had the right connection to my list, and not at-all based on a set number, and had the right knowledge to share. There is no magical number. I had probably 2k subscribers on my list when I launched that, and handful more when I launched newsletter #1 soon after. When I launched newsletter #2 I had a little over 3k subscribers. I know people who have done continuity with just 700 subscribers.

Point is this:

There is no set black & white number.

It’s based on your relationship & knowledge with your list.

Which brings me back to my “elBenbo Press” book.

It’s easily my most expensive book yet.

But, during the launch this week I am offering it at a thick $300.00 discount off the price listed on the sales page until tonight, Friday, October 23 at midnight EDT.

Here is the link:

And make sure you see the price change before entering any info.

P.S. If you are interested in buying this book, read the sales letter very carefully before pulling the trigger. Don’t be a fool and purchase on blind impulse. This book is not only expensive, but the information inside requires substantial amounts of effort, ambition, patience, time, and discipline to learn, master, and profit from.

Don’t say you weren’t warned.
