The secret publishing “underworld” where people pay you to read your advertising

Published: Fri, 10/23/20

A few months ago, “Email Players” subscriber Brian Kurtz had Yours Crotchety on a webinar as a guest trainer.

The subject:

How I run my print newsletter business.

And I said something on the call I suspect rattled a few people, probably shocked others, and very likely sounded really cool to a few more. What I am talking about is what the REAL purpose of a print newsletter is — whether it’s paid, free, monthly, or whatever frequency.

And that purpose is to sell your other offers.

(And/or sell your name to other publishers to sell you their offers.)

That’s the entire purpose of selling any kind of most any monthly publication.

I don’t care if we’re talking about $100/month newsletter or a 10 cent comicbook.

That doesn’t mean your content shouldn’t be valuable & worth far more than you charge (it should). But the magazine, comicbook, and tabloid industries have always done this. Comicbook writer Larry Hama — who practically single-handedly helped build G.I. Joe into the billion dollar brand it is today — once gave a great example of how many popular comics existed for the advertising, like the Vampirella comics, which were merely a vehicle to sell the publisher’s toy catalog via the ads inside it.

That was where the real money was.

And the customers loved it, as well as buying from the ads.

The point?

There’s a whole other publishing world out there hidden in plain sight.

If you’re paying attention, you’ll see it all around you.

And if you’re smart, you’ll figure out how to model it for your own offers.

Which brings me to my “elBenbo Press” book.

The launch price ends tonight at midnight EDT.

And I not only reveal my entire high-end book & newsletter publishing model, but how I use those books and newsletters to sell my other offers.

However, before you check it out, realize this:

This book is very much a “Ben Settle 400-level” training.

For better or worse, that means it is not at-all newbie-friendly. And while I’m not saying you have to have all my other books or be an Email Players subscriber to use it… I will say the longer you’ve been reading my emails, the more of my books you’ve read, and the more of “me” you are familiar with, the more suited you are for this information.

It’s also my most expensive book yet, too.

But, during the launch this week I am offering it at a thick $300.00 discount off the price listed on the sales page until tonight, Friday, October 23 at midnight EDT.

Use code SIZZLE at the checkout.

And make sure you see the price change before entering any info.

P.S. If you are interested in buying this book, read the sales letter very carefully before pulling the trigger. Don’t be a fool and purchase on blind impulse. This book is not only expensive, but the information inside requires substantial amounts of effort, ambition, patience, time, and discipline to learn, master, and profit from.

Don’t say you weren’t warned.
