goo-roo fanboys drooling on the keyboard about “wHaT’s wOrKiNg nOw!”

“Email Players” subscriber Jeff Chen exposes the fakes, frauds, and fools:

Recently, I saw multiple subscriptions offers with no refund and no come-back policy (sound very familiar ...). However, they do not make sense and feel pushy (although you sell something in every single email on a daily basis ...)

Here are my why ...

1. Every single of your issue has a "Wow" moment - $97.00 almost feels like a bargain. At a minimum. they are always entertaining!!!

2. You treat your newsletter as a $97.00 product - professionally produced and mailed via FedEx. Very bad time to use the postal office or printing out newsletters on a home/office printer to save a few dollars here and there ...

3. You talked about how you want to keep your business simple and don't bother with processing refunds, cancellation, or other "administrative stuff." Others say a similar thing but also brag about the number of their staff and business setup or how busy they are each day ...

Don't sound real or feel good on my end ...

Those fakes are quite the characters.

Back in my old elBenbo’s Lair Facebook group, we used to mock them all the time. It was always completely obvious the fakes, frauds, & fools mindlessly copying me missed the point, and not a single one of them ever lasted.

What nobody tells these idiots is you can’t swipe a business’s properly built world.

Or ape someone’s inborn personality.

Or do any number of the things these boys & ghouls do that just exposes them for being the frauds they are. Yes, this applies especially to the ones who think they are “getting away” with something. Eventually their inept antics and their obvious lack of understanding even the 101-level fundamentals of marketing become clear to everyone except the little goo-roo fanboys haunting Facebook & Twitter all day who themselves are even less learned on the subject. Eventually they all get exposed as flies feeding on the same giant turd. And from what I’ve seen, the fall is short and hard, with the empty skulls of their businesses bouncing off the pavement of the marketplace like a coconut.

It takes more than fancy Facebook or Twitter posturing.

It takes more than drooling on the keyboard about “wHaT’s wOrKiNg nOw!” to try to sound cool describing lame marketing tactics & tricks in a mastermind or in a social media thread.

And it sure as hades takes more than swiping & stealing.

I wonder how many so-called “6-figure” businesses will even have a business when (not if) Facebook, Twitter, and other social media are taken away as dirt cheap media for marketing & selling.

My guess is 90%+ of them won't.

We shalt see soon enough.

But the few smart ones who understand how to build their own marketing universe probably won’t have to worry about such things any more than Disney/Marvel worried about the entire comicbook store business having gone under recently, or any more than a guy like Dan Kennedy who has never — from what I understand, at least — even set up an email address, much less a single social media account worries about it.

You can help give your business peace of mind too.

And you can help do so by subscribing to “Email Players” in time for the October issue.

Deadline to subscribe in time is tomorrow.
