A few years ago, Grant Cardone ran this Facebook ad:

Yeesh.

It was particularly cringeworthy when one of my subscribers pointed out out his inventory that was about to be destroyed along with his office… was a lot of digital products.

That’s one helluva hurricane if it can even destroy eBooks!

The point:

For all the flack Mr. Cardone no doubt took for that sale, it probably made him a huge bundle of money. Not only because of who his marketing appeals to, and not only because it was a 90% off sale… but because of something else his ad did.

Something certain, very successful used car dealers like to do.

Or, at least, they did back in the 80’s when I was growing up.
