Blessed by the Engagement Fairy’s magical twinkle pole

Another day, another skeptic ignoring email’s 30-year track record:

When you look at things like FB groups where we (entrepreneurs) get so much engagement vs email where I only get (max) 30% open rates. What is the future of email? How can I be confident that building the email horde is a good long term investment? I know I OWN the list. I really get that. But what is the value in ownership when attention keeps dropping?

Thanks

The fact he gives a rat’s pucker about “open rates” to measure engagement is his first problem.

And it smells like he’s got himself 1 or more of these 4 problems, too:

1. His emails are boring
2. His offer is not something anyone wants
3. His list is full of non-buyers
4. A combo of the above

It ain’t an email problem, it’s an engagement problem.

That’s the bad news.

The good news:

Getting all the engagement you want — with email, social media, even carnival barking on a street corner if that’s your bag — is a simple matter of applying 1 or more of the 11 ways of doing so I teach in glorious detail in the July “Email Players” issue. Any one of them is like having the Engagement Fairy bless your business with its magical twinkle pole.

The more you use the secret inside, the more engagement you can get.

The more engagement you get, the more sales you can get.

The more response you get, the more stuff your spouse can get.
