The quasi-illiterate man who tried to troll elBenbo

The gist of it was this:
The email was addressing a blue flame special’s rather foolish question about a profitable campaign I run each and every year, and how I must not be getting any creative stimulation out of it, yada yada yada. Like the Playboy ad Dan Kennedy wrote about, the emails I send in that campaign just chug along, year after year, unchanged, and make a tidy bit of coinage for what comes out to about 20 minutes probably of “work” as I copy & paste my emails I already written years ago into broadcast emails.
No, it’s not the most professionally and intellectually stimulating task in the world.
But, so far, the bank doesn’t penalize me for that when I deposit the dough.
Anyway, the fun didn’t stop there.
A day after I sent the Playboy story email above, two comments came in about it, about an hour a part, in one of those delightfully ironic juxtapositions one simply has no choice but to showcase when it happens.
The first one:
“running out gas ben?....second time around for this info nugget.”
Which was incorrect — as it was at least the 3rd time I’d ran that email.
Whatever the case, I’m not sure if that was a feeble troll attempt. Or if he is simply illiterate — as the email was literally about reusing emails again and again and again every year that are proven to be profitable.
And then, this second email came from “Email Players” subscriber Robert Martinez:
“Hello Ben, reading this post made me crazy. This ding dong doesn't understand the first thing about running a successful business. Having boring, mundane, and unstimulating work chugging along as you use your creative juices to build a new campaign is how you build an empire. Imagine throwing that work away. As a business owner of 25 years, I quickly learned how to make money. The work that was interesting was one-off prototypes that were challenging and stimulating. Worth an annual income of 80k to 100k per year. The boring, day to day jobs that came back over and over again were worth hundreds of thousands per year. I stimulated myself by spending the money on Real Estate purchases that allowed me to retire at 55 years old with an income that most dream about. I now have a Real Estate empire that I am going to use the Ben Settle methods to grow and strengthen. Any stimilation I need I get by walking in the mountains, fishing,
hunting, or dreaming of a new adventure to go on. Give me boring, or give me death!”
I hear ya Mr. Martinez.
Unfortunately, small thinkers & Low IQ Marketers like these naysayers have no desire to learn or think about how this all works.
All that thinking cuts too much into their Facebook political arm-chairing time, I reckon.
The point of all this?
