How to create content that attracts buyers instead of tire kickers
Published: Fri, 05/15/20
A little while back, I got asked a question from an “Email Players” subscriber about how she was seeing a drop in sales in her business as a result of her list not being made up of enough action taking buyers. Instead, her list was infested with far too many complainers, naysayers, and closed-minded types, or simply people with unrealistic expectations.
Anyway, she said she needed to solve the problem ASAP.
And, did I have any thoughts on creating content that will attract buyers, specifically?
Since she is also one of Troy Broussard’s clients, too, I decided to also forward her question to him for his take even though he was on a cruise and trying to avoid work.
Below is what Troy suggested.
And, I daresay his advice applies to just about any business in the same situation.
Here goes:

Some ideas…
Some type of 5 day challenge... make the content free, they must register to get it and they can ONLY get it inside the app... The drip for this can be setup by putting one lesson in each of 5 modules and setting a tag for each module for the drip (TagDay1, TagDay2, etc)... and controlling it via Infusionsoft which she has…
Take one of his books and sell it via a free + shipping book style funnel, but instead of charging $9.95 or whatever to ship the book, just charge $1.99 and give them INSTANT ACCESS to the audio version of the book in the app... and upsell the print book for whatever you want as a one-click upsell. Then run Facebook traffic to it. This is pretty good way to build a buyer list. Use various ebooks to try out different offers until you find out what works, converting them to audio for the funnel.
Yes to the podcasting idea. Do a bunch of podcasting interviews and send them to some free content inside the app. Of course, via a webform to register to get it.
That's what comes to mind "at sea" and two margaritas down…

Dayem fine advice.
Advice that, again, any business can adapt, use, or apply to get better, action-taking buyers. It also goes perfectly in tandem with the Learnistic mobile app platform we are launching until midnight tonight.
Here is how it works:
1. Until tonight (Friday May 15th) at midnight EDT you can get a free test drive of it — after which the site will be closed down for a while to “iron out” any lingering bugs & glitches, etc
2. Use it, brand it, add content to it, show it to your clients & colleagues if you want… and see if it “clicks” for you — with no credit card needed, and zero obligation
3. If you decide to subscribe during your test drive, and if you do it before Sunday May 31 at midnight EDT… you can have it for $99/month instead of the $150/month it will cost right after that. Plus you will be “grandfathered” in for life at that price forever — including when we add our own email broadcasting/autoresponder platform and other expensive features later this year… after which the price will balloon to over $200+/month over time
Bottom line:
If’n you want to try it free, I highly recommend you do it today.
I’ve learned the hard way already launching software ain’t like info products.
By that I mean, you don’t want thousands of people piling in right away. That only makes for a lot of frustrated & unhappy customers. It’s much better to grow slowly and roll out over time. Thus, tonight’s deadline to get your free test drive may get abruptly shortened without warning — even at this late of an hour, with the team standing by. And, even people who get in for the test drive may not be able to buy for a while if you linger too long to make a decision once inside. And of course if that happens where we close it early due to demand… and you wait too long to buy it after taking your test drive, you will miss out on the above savings.
So if this interests you at all, I would not procrastinate on getting your test drive, if I were you.
