Losers of a feather flock together
Published: Sun, 05/31/20
It was basically a “search & replace” job.
Especially the FAQ section, even though it made no sense for the guy’s empty little amateur offer. He basically replaced the name of my product with just the word “newsletter” — no “The” before it — making his ad sound like an illiterate drunken circus clown wrote it.
I couldn’t figure out what amused me more:
That the guy is such a loser he can’t write his own words.
Or that someone would be such a loser they’d buy from such an offer in the first place.
Speaking of losers:
That same week, another guy emailed me about a loser copycat in France, asking me if I knew him.
My answer:
“Yes, I banned him for being a hack, and the guy even blamed his assistant when I called him out. He's a loser.”
To which the guy replied with:
“Not sure if this is true or not but he claims he has made millions over the past years, so I would not call him a loser.”
I don’t know, Chuckles, smells like both a loser & a liar to me.
Anyway, I post this as a warning:
The information in the June “Email Players” issue shows some very simple, but 100% proven, ways to write copy that is uniquely you, so you don’t have to resort to swiping and stealing and posturing by publicly counting non-existent money so the naive proles keep buying from you.
Do it right, and I can virtually promise you will start getting copied, too.
It’s just what losers do.
And not only do they copy you, but they all start to copy each other, too.
Losers of a feather really do flock together, afterall.
And from there it just gets sillier and sillier until they fade away completely.
That’s why when you understand the animal you are dealing with, and how their days are all numbered and they are always on the run and they live miserable lives when they are finally caught… you don’t really get mad at them so much as pity them. And coming from a guy like me who doesn’t pity even people who deserve it, that’s saying something.
Bottom line:
If you can’t tolerate losers trying to copy you, best pass on this issue.
Because if you follow my instructions, I believe you can expect just that to happen.
But I also believe you can expect a lot more sales, too.
And a stronger brand nobody can copy anyway.
As well as a more stable, solid, and fulfilling bid’nis.
That’s been my experience, at least.
