Let the garbage men go after the garbage

If you’ve ever seen the movie “Training Day” (about a rookie narcotics officer’s first day on the job — highly recommended) there is a line it it that perfectly sums up my attitude towards not only customers for my info-products, but for when I did client work.
An attitude that landed me several high paying clients.
And, often, without even needing to do the client-freelancer dance.
(Or even show a portfolio in a couple cases.)
Anyway, here is the line:
“Let the garbage men go after the garbage, we go after the big fish.”
They were talking about not screwing around going after the low level drug dealers, but going after the suppliers and big criminals. This is exactly the attitude I think anyone with skill & ambition should have if you are freelancing, coaching, consulting, or selling any other kind of service. And it is the guiding light behind what makes my Email Client Horde methodology work.
In other words:
Let the low priced services go for the price shoppers and cheapskates.
You go for the GOLD, not the aluminum, baby.
Something, incidentally, Email Client Horde shows you.
