A profitable "side effect" of this chaotic economy
Published: Thu, 04/02/20
And here’s another prediction:
Because of the chaotic economy at the moment, certain businesses are going to find they ain’t in the business they thought they were.
In most cases, probably temporarily.
But, in others, permanently.
For example:
Back in late 2018, I had this idea I would do a ho' bunch of work last year in 2019 writing and/or launching nearly a dozen books… so that this year in 2020 I could “coast” a bit, and rest on my proverbial laurels, lay back a little, relax, and maybe even get some more fiction writing in, which I am very anxious to do.
Didn’t quite work that way.
For one thing, I bought into a couple software businesses last Fall.
And, to prep to launch one of them, in January/February this year I had to pound out some 200 pages — a novel’s length — of email copy for the auto-responder, plus the 22 or so emails to launch it to my own list next month, plus some other assorted ads, etc. Not to mention the sales page copy, which took a lot longer than anticipated.
So I got it all done, and was ready to lock my fingers behind my head, kick back in my righteous armchair and relax.
Back to business as usual.
Then, this virus & quarantining exploded onto the scene.
And suddenly, my entire 2020 promotional schedule changed on a dime, dealing with what is, and not what I wanted and anticipated would happen this year. Due to what some very smart economic minds I follow have been saying as well as observing history... I fully expected the US economy to go into a recession by the end of 2020 or early 2021 at the latest anyway, and said as such in the bonus “elBenbo’s Lair” insert in the January “Email Players” issue.
But, I certainly did not expect it to happen this sudden or by the means it did.
Thus, had to start making changes.
Not just to better deal with the coming storm, but to look for any opportunities that came from it to better serve my market.
Yes, my little fledgeling, opportunities are already abounding even from this chaotic time.
And, if you aren’t ready to adapt and act, you will miss them.
Take, for example, a couple weeks ago:
Originally, I’d planned to sell my “Copy Troll” book, not my “Email Players List Swell” book the 3rd week of March. Yet, when I did my Quaranstream, the #1 question & desire coming in was people asking about list building. Thus, I stopped what I was working on, and went in and rapidly swapped out all the emails I’d preloaded to sell “Copy Troll”, and quickly wrote and used emails to sell “Email Players List Swell.”
The result?
We sold some 56 copies and burned right through my inventory of 30 books.
I was originally going to sell that book this Summer.
And, at that time, I probably would have done half that many sales.
But, because I adapted & adjusted & changed with the oncoming circumstances, took that chaos and used it… I used it to my advantage and my customers’ advantages so they could use the info to start building their lists and start better positioning their businesses too.
And, several have...
Same with the April “Email Players” issue.
Originally, this month I was going to publish what will now be the May issue, about building your own media empire — easily the single most valuable & important issue I’ve written to date.
But, I was getting a lot of questions about freelancing suddenly.
I also believe freelancers, coaches, consultants, service providers of many stripes will be in hot demand if they have the right business model. And so, I switched the issues around, to go with and ride that demand and deliver something that is more immediately valuable than the media empire topic.
Point is this:
All of the above took a considerable amount of time for reasons I won’t go into here.
But, it was worth every minute of that extra time spent.
Had I been lazy and try to coast, I’d have missed out on a lot of opportunity, a lot of sales, and a lot of chances to deliver the exact kinds of content my Horde is seeking now, due to these current events.
Another example:
I had all kinds of different offers planned for these next few months.
Specifically, high ticket offers that would go perfect during an up economy.
Even including a high ticket hot seat event here in my town at Count elBenbo’s Lair.
But, now that the economy is pinching a loaf, those sorts of things would appeal to way fewer businesses, and may not even be possible at all. Thus, I knew I needed to adjust again, shuffle around my carefully laid plans for these next few months… and find a whole different category of offer I would not ordinarily have bothered with.
Which brings me back to the original theme of this email:
I am finding more and more, I am not in the exact same business as I was just a few weeks ago, at least temporarily.
I suspect many reading this are discovering the same about their businesses, too.
Which also brings me to the pitch:
Michael Senoff’ “Emergency Fast Cash” audios I am selling this weekend as an affiliate, I had not originally planned.
Not even the kind of offer I usually sell, either.
But Michael is the master of sneaky ways for businesses to make quick emergency cash. And, this program covering all his best ways normally lists for $597. But he will sell them for just $47 to my Horde via my affiliate link below, if you do it by Sunday, April 5 at midnight PDT.
More:
If you buy from my affiliate link below by the deadline, you not only get the $597 “Emergency Fast Cash Now” series for a mere $47… but you will also get:
“The Stefania Files: Volume 4”
This is the latest round of 10 private videos I recorded for my woman Stefania's (and sometimes her clients') marketing education. They add up to over two hours of pure content. And they are, in their own way, some of the most valuable trainings I've ever done.
Anyway, to get the Emergency Fast Cash Audios plus these Stefania File: Volume 4 videos, go here before the Sunday, April 5 at midnight PDT deadline:

P.S. Here’s a “taste” of what you’ll get in the bonus Stefania Files: Volume 4 videos:

* The micro lesson I would have taught the audience at Funnel Hacking Live if I’d spoken there when I was invited to last year.
* A 26-minute “crash course” on how almost anyone using email — newb or guru — can get maximum deliverability & engagement. (I was hopped up on the pre-workout in the car when I recorded this puppy — and in some ways, this is the single most valuable “email” lesson I can possibly teach anyone.)
* How to “resurrect” an email list you haven’t mailed in months and they don’t even remember who you are.
* The exact best time to start selling a subscription based offer if you’re a newbie.

* The un-sexy, “meat & potatoes” marketing secret to getting your spam complaints down to almost zero even if you send dozens of emails in a tight time frame.

* The dirty little secret about selling to the low hanging fruit in your market that will keep you frustrated and struggling.
* 4 things I learned from the founding father of online advertising anyone can do to build a strong, thriving business with ZERO special skills, intelligence, creativity, money, having to buy a bunch of info products or coaching required
* An infamous MD’s “pre selling” secret to being the only business people buy from even if you aren’t the best marketer, copywriter, or salesman. (Admittedly this is a time intensive idea you’ll have to apply to your business, marketing, and branding — but it can potentially change everything very quickly for those who use it.)
