My uncensored opinion about the economy

Published: Fri, 03/06/20

On December 31 2019, CNBC ran a news article with the headline:

“Don’t look now, but Goldman Sachs is saying the economy is nearly recession-proof”

When I ran it through my bull shyt translator, this is what spit out the other side:

"Get ready for a terrible financial crisis. Probably soon…"

If you believe Goldman Sachs, by all means keep doing so.

Otherwise, here’s your pal elBenbo’s unsolicited advice this year to prepare:

* Don’t screw around with anything but the fundamentals of direct response — that means putting attractive offers in front of receptive leads, and then selling those buyers something else

* Put away the dorky motivational memes and shut off the live streams and podcasts — that just try to inspire you, probably created by people who pretend to be wealthy while they live like royalty on $6 per day in a 3rd world country

* Keep boning up on your sales, persuasion, and marketing skills — I am partial to using email and, most recently, a mobile app, for speed and profitability (biased with both though I am)

* Put some money away — 6 months to a year’s worth, as fast as you can; you can do so probably by using & applying those info products you keep buying, instead of merely collecting them

* Don’t waste your time JV’ing or partnering with anyone you wouldn’t trust with your house keys for a month — hat tip to the great Terry Dean for that advice

* When things go south, a lot of things will be for sale to those who have cash — and a fire sale is a great thing for people who can take advantage of it

* Only invest in info products that give you advice that is (1) immediately actionable (2) evergreen and (3) can be adapted to any media platform — re: media platforms: the April "Email Players" issue is going to be all about this, easily the most valuable issue I've ever written in many ways, more on that in a couple weeks…

* Don’t get into any more debt — and pay off whatever debt you have, as rapidly as you can (see the "Stop Being Poor" offer below, best plan for doing just that while also building wealth at the same time I've seen)

* Be paranoid — assume there’s a ticking time bomb with the economy

Anyway, even if I’m wrong and Goldman Sachs is right, the above is sound advice.

To further help prepare the citizens up in my Horde, tonight is the deadline to get the “Stop Being Poor” 2 eBook bundle at my affiliate link below.

And if you send me your receipt before midnight tonight, you'll also get:

“The Email Players Swipe File: Volume 1”

This is an 88-page swipe file of Email Players newsletter sales letters and ad inserts I’ve included over the last 100+ issues, since 2011 when it first launched. These are mostly short, “impulse” ads that have collectively helped pull quite a bit of dough, but there are some long form sales letters stuffed in there, too. And I believe they can also make great ad "templates" (not copy & paste - only losers & amateurs do that) to model & adapt for your offers, regardless of industry, niche, or product category. And when you buy the “Stop Being Poor” 2 eBook bundle above with my affiliate link, and send me your receipt by the deadline, I shalt send it to you.

But, let me be very clear about this:

You must send me your receipt by the deadline to get this swipe file, even if you buy before the tonight (Friday, 3/6) at midnight EST deadline. If you send me your receipt after the deadline, well, thank you for the sale, but you won’t be getting the bonus.
