Indoctrinating the “yutes” of marketing into my fugly ways

One of my clients just switched email platforms to ___ and their onboarding is a series of "training" videos (taught by someone who wouldn't know the first thing about direct response).

The email "advice" was as bad as you'd think. The fascination with "PRETTY" templates that "naturally draw the eye to the CTA" is so lame. So glad you indoctrinated me before I made those mistakes. (Helped make the client an extra ~$8k by sending 4 emails people enjoyed that were ugly and "way too long" for the experts.)

P.S. Count me as someone who enjoyed reading your ElBenbo's Lair insert if you didn't already. Already bought two of your bio recommendations and found the other stuff interesting as well.

It’s why we do it…

On another note:

Mr. Brandt is one of a growing list of people who said they are especially enjoying the elBenbo’s Lair inserts I’ve been including with “Email Players” recently, which is more an “insider” look at the ways I think, work, and do business.

These inserts are not so-much “how I do it” info.

But “what I do” or "how I think" or "what I learn from" info.

The kind of info I used to build an extremely engaged & rabid Facebook group a few years ago until I closed it down, and eventually leaving that accursed platform forever.

These inside-looks were always very popular amongst its members.

And, these inserts are the paper version of what I used to do in there.

Whatever the case, the March “Email Players” issue includes an elBenbo's Lair insert. And, it contains some “corporate warfare” related info used by a huge publishing company to blow right past all its competition and rule its industry for the last 60 years.

I’ve been using this info a lot over the past year especially.

And it’s one of several tidbits included in the March issue insert.

If you want some of this insider lovin’, you'll have to hurry to subscribe in time to get the March issue.
