Spanking affiliate marketers for fun & bragging rights
Published: Mon, 02/17/20
But a few months ago, I sold one of the great Brian Kurtz’s offers to my list as an affiliate. And, a few days after the campaign, I got a note in the mail from him that said:
“You are superhuman!
44 Rutz orders is amazing.
Talk to you soon.”
Now, I don’t know how well his other affiliates are doing.
But, I am guessing I am towards the top of the list in terms of sales, and also towards the bottom or middle of the list in terms of list size. And one thing I do not have to guess at is, that great man of marketing (who I am doing a project with next month, that will be free for everyone to learn from and have, incidentally, stay tuned…) has profited quite a bit from my affiliate antics over the last 5 years or so.
Take, for example, his Titans of Direct Response program.
When I sold it, I put all his other affiliates over my righteous knee, and spanked them all, one by one. It wasn’t even close. Including the ones who have lists 10+ times the size, with far greater name recognition, and who are, frankly, way better “marketers” and “copywriters” than Yours Humbly.
You think I exaggerate?
Maybe even engaging in a bit of puffery?
Well, don’t take my word for it, Chuckles, here’s what Brian said:
===
Ben promoted my "Titans of Direct Response" package....a somewhat esoteric but powerful product which included videos, interviews and swipe files for the ages....but it needed lots of support and explanation to sell well. He not only endorsed it but because he believed in the product deeply, he presented it to his "list" in a way that enabled him to sell well over $100,000 (at $2,000 per package) to his raving fans. And he outsold every other affiliate I used for this program, almost all of which had larger lists than his....but clearly not as responsive. He even outsold others with lists 10 times the size of his.

Anyway, here’s why I am nattering on about this:
I have decided to have a fat discount sale on my obnoxiously expensive and door-stop-heavy “Affiliate Launch Copynomicon” book this week, until Friday February 21, at midnight EST.
It contains elBenbo’s "superhuman" methods for doing affiliate campaigns.
As well as for doing product launches & special sales with just plain text “retro” email.
To read about this book, go to the URL and use the discount code below.
