Crowning the King of Persuasion online

Published: Mon, 12/16/19

Behold...

Time to dispel 4 big myths about what's the almighty "king" when it comes to persuasion & selling online:

1. Myth #1: Value Is King

Negative.

True, value (when done correctly) is important.

But is it "king"?

If it is, then it must be hiding amongst the peasants.

Because there are millions of people delivering value on the internet right now who still can't sell a single blessed copy of their product or minute of their time. I know I spent many years delivering value with very little to show for it. And if value is "king", all the hyper value providers would be rich beyond beyond the dreams of avarice.

But most ain't.

In fact, many are struggling.

And, they’re often wondering why...

2. Myth #2: Content Is King

Ditto #1.

There are lots of people working like mules putting out massive amounts of valuable content each day who still haven't made much of the green stuff. If content was the end-all-be-all, then all of these generous content-givers would be swimming in the dough like Scrooge McDuck in his big money vault.

But they're not swimming in money.

Many are drowning in debt.

Because again, while content is important, it's not king.

3. Myth #3: Copy Is King

No matter what a chest-beating copywriter says... copy is not king.

It's much farther down the totem pole.

Like under your list, offer, and positioning for starters. More of a 10 of clubs — and not even a jack or queen in the deck.

4. Myth #4: Teaching Is King

Is it?

As I once heard the great and esteemed Matt Furey point out:

We pay teachers almost nothing in our society.

If teaching was this magical wealth-building skill, then great teachers would all be fabulously wealthy, no?

Yes, teaching is important.

It can do wonders for your credibility and positioning.

But it ain't even close to being king of persuasion.

OK, so if the above aren't "king", what is?

Well, I will give you a hint — it’s something that’s been used by guys like bestselling author Robert Kiyosaki to create an entire business empire from one book. It also helped build the biggest religion in history, too. Cable news networks do it routinely now, instead of hard news, and so does talk radio. And, believe it or not, the Federal government’s CDC used it to teach the public about preparedness and public health (usually boring topics) on a Monday, only to have their server crash by Wednesday from tripling the traffic they usually get.

Anyway, enough of this teasing.

That who I have crowned as the King of Persuasion online is none other than:

Infotainment.

(i.e. combining information with entertainment)

Especially since, we live in a celebrity-obsessed society.

And if you want to get my Infotainment Jackpot book at the special "Seasons Emailings" $150.00 discount I mentioned earlier today (i.e it is $241 instead of $391), you have less than 3 hours to do so (midnight tonight, 12/16 EST) at:

http://www.EmailPlayers.com/jackpot

* Use coupon code: JACKPOT16

* Make sure you see the price change before entering credit card info.

* And most important:

Realize I am one copy shy of selling out my inventory on these books as of the time I am sending this email.

I had some 19 in stock, thinking maybe I'd sell 9 or 10 or so today.

But, it looks like I was just a wee bit too conservative in my sales estimates...

That means, it will take a bit longer to get to you if you choose to buy it tonight. Probably not a super long time, but with printing, slow holiday mail times, etc it will likely take a few days to a week longer than usual.

If you don't have patience, this offer ain't for you...
