How to spin(dler) unemployment into sales

I recently lost a very attractive freelance job I had, because boss was jumping from one idea to another, so even though we doubled the company's growth while I was there,(and I have solid reasons to believe it fell back to the old level after I left) he didn’t want to keep me, because the new kid in town, doing several emails a week was… old news.
Un-smart decision, but you can’t control other people, can you?
So, I was a little shaken-not-stirred, but then I just created 2 great campaigns for my wife, and started applying for jobs via email.
After 1 months I got a new interesting well paying job (writing personal job applications) and after 2 months we had sold $52,798 worth of courses in our 2 business (mostly my wifes yoga-bidniz)
The latter by writing daily emails to 3 lists (and building the lists aggressively)
At the same time (inspired by email players mag) I made a deal with a danish well respected online marketing guy to write emails for him if he’d promote me and my list, my emails grossing $15,000 for him in a week, so he’s going to get me on his popular podcast and write about me in his blog and more.

He also added:
“Yes, you can use it as a testimonial with name if you so please. I hope it makes you money, because buying as many of your products as I can afford will never pay off what I owe you.”
I can’t say every business will get these off-the-wall results.
But, can say this is what is possible.
That is, for people who subscribe, do the work, implement, and treat it like a business and not a video game.
The October issue goes to the printer very soon.
