The "Sheldon Cooper" of copywriting’s super creativity secret

And, they started talking about Jim’s lack of a “governor.”
They didn’t phrase it exactly like that.
But, basically, a governor is something on a rental truck that makes it impossible to go past a certain speed. With that governor you are reigned in from speeding. Without that governor you’d be able to go balls out as fast as the truck will go.
So it was with the great Mr. Rutz, from the sounds of it.
For example:
During the interview, they were talking about how Rutz would come up with an idea that was completely ridiculous and potentially extremely offensive if taken out of context. All because he didn’t have that filter. David Deutsch (who had done extensive research on creativity and the brain, and has used his findings to write some of the highest-pulling control ads in history) went on to say in that interview how that lack of a filter is a gigantic secret of creativity.
He also said that:
“[Jim] had a little bit of that Sheldon-esque on Big Bang Theory.”
The context being:
Jim didn't really understand the social cues that tells a person “yeah, that comes off as nutty” due to not being able to look at things in a social context. Thus, he had to have someone help him edit some of this off-the-wall ideas down a bit before releasing the Kraken and sending his copy to the client.
That was the basic gist of it.
And it explains a lot of his big control packages, headlines, and ideas.
Anyway, for the discerning copywriter, there’s a ton more value in that interview.
An interview you can get your greedy, keyboard-riddled fingers on by getting the 200+ promo “Read This Or Die” swipe file Brian Kurtz is selling on a USB drive.
More:
If you buy it before Sunday, October 6th at midnight EDT… and if you send me your receipt *by* that deadline (not just buy the swipe file by that deadline, but also send me your receipt by that deadline), I will email you back a valuable bundle of videos I call:
“The Swiperoscope Saga: Part 1”
These videos contain almost 2.5 hours of Yours Rudely putting 5 of my favorite ads and sales letters in my private swipe file under the proverbial “microscope”, and analyzing them word-for-word.
In some ways, these are the most valuable bonuses I’ve ever offered.
Especially since I ended up re-learning or seeing whole new insights as I did them.
Anyway, they are yours for the taking.
That is, if you send your receipt to me by the above deadline.
