I'm gonna tap that ad

A few years back, the media interviewed Donald Trump and the topic of a super model he dated came up, to which Trump said she was “No longer a 10.”

When the media asked for her response?

Incoherent babble.

She was clearly rattled, and it got her upset emotionally — despite the fact she was now a mother of 4 and well past her modeling days and it shouldn’t really have mattered what Trump said or thought.

But it did matter.

And, it mattered because Trump tapped into one of her insecurities.

With one measly sentence.

And guess what?

This tapping into insecurities in a headline or subject line is one of the best ways ever invented for getting people to not only read your ads and emails, but give them their undivided attention.

Anyway, here's the irony:

A small group of always-outraged people reading this will SPURN this lesson because "Trump!"

Another group will be indifferent to it, because it's too hard or uninteresting to think about.

But yet another group - much smaller than the other two combined - will think about it. Start writing emails using it. And, ultimately profit from it, regardless if they love, hate, or despise Trump.

That's the group that makes great "Email Players" newsletter material.

And, it's also who will get the most out of the upcoming September issue, specifically, which shows an especially powerful way to self-market your business used by everyone from "household name" mogules like William Randolph Hearst and Donald Trump...to clever celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Steve McQueen... to brilliant marketers like Gary Halbert and Dan Kennedy.
