Use Your Noodle to Win More Boodle

A fun fact:

The above subject line was the original title for Napoleon Hill’s mega-bestselling book “Think And Grow Rich”. There’s a whole story behind that (another tale for another day). But, here’s why I bring it up:

That book is one of the best-selling books of all time.

But, do you think it would have sold as much with that moronic title “Use Your Noodle To Win More Boodle”?

Even with the exact same content inside?

Of course not.

Such is the power of titles.

And, it’s the same in your ads headlines.

Tests have been done where even tiny headline changes have yielded giant returns. (Like when Gary Bencivenga showed how changing “Why The Price Of Silver Will Rise Steeply” to “Why The Price Of Silver May Rise Steeply” drove response through the roof, with a one word change).

Anyway, here’s why I bring this up?

Mr. Hill used a very specific technique for coming up with Think And Grow Rich title. And believe it or not, Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield also used this technique to come with their book title, “Chicken Soup for the Soul” — which has sold over 100 million copies in 39 languages worldwide.

And you know what?

The Scott Haines copywriting course I told you about earlier today reveals that technique for coming up with headlines, as well as so many *more* headline tips they take up 4 of the 12 chapters in the course. (Think maybe his headlines had something to do with his being hired by guys like Donald Trump, Jay Abraham, Gary Halbert, etc?)
