The ugliest $375 million brand in the world

Published: Thu, 07/22/21

One of the things I get “flack” for is my lack of keeping up with all the newest technology & software, or internet marketing goo-roo fanboy jargon.

“Ben still uses 1992 technology LOL!”

All of which is true, of course.

The only exception being our Learnistic mobile app technology, which is super simple.

And yet, despite that, I’ve built a 7-figure in sales publishing business, have zero debt or employees or assistants, and am not beholden to anyone or anything (affiliates, a team, bankers, bosses, clients, etc)… nor do I require any social media presence whatsoever, although I do now have one on my SocialLair platform. And yet… according to the great Kia Arian (one of the only graphic designers the great Dan Kennedy has ever endorsed):

“Ben has such a strong and well-defined brand, the designs practically create themselves.”

The model for how I built (and continue to build) this brand?

The Drudge Report.

At least, what it used to be.

Despite the bizarre left field direction he's taken & questionable ad click schemes — if it’s even Matt Drudge running that show anymore at all — that is ravaging his brand amongst his diehards as of late, as well as the inevitable "what goes up must come down" nature of things... I believe Drudge is still currently the greatest “online marketer” on the planet.

And, probably the most influential media brand in world history.

All of this, plus:

* It is a butt-ugly Web 1.0 site design that looks like it was created on Netscape Composer, and hasn’t been updated since the mid 90’s

* It is manned by only 4 or 5 people

* Gets over a billion page views per month

* Has over 14 million US readers alone per month

* Wasn’t even “mobile optimized” until recently

* Finally offered an app last year (and apparently even that is technologically inept...)

* Is arguably the single most influential news site on the internet

* And, according to a Business Insider article I read a couple years back… has an estimated value of $150 million to $375 million

Plus, it has zero debt that I know of.

No newsroom or overhead.

Or any of the other trappings of other big media companies.

Frankly, it doesn't even produce content.

And modeling this business's minimalist ways has gotten Yours Caveman laughed at, mocked, joked about, and, of course, trolled from friends & enemies alike — the vast majority of who, I would bet someone else’s left testie have brands that are not even in the same ballpark as the one I’ve been able to develop just following Drudge’s evil ways.

All of which brings me to the punchline:

I can’t say I’ve suffered through every so-called “branding expert’s” videos.

Or read all their books.

Or even pay much attention to them outside of what others have shown me when I was prepping to write my “Brand Barbarian” book originally, to make sure I wasn’t going to be teaching stuff widely or easily found anywhere else on this particular subject.

But, I can say this:

I am absolutely convinced many businesses can build a million-dollar brand over time without using any of the typical milquetoast theories pushed by corporate America, Madison Ave, or broke “influencer” coaches shooting videos in their cars while virtue signaling about whatever their Facebook friends just told them they should be woke about. The branding methods I teach are the opposite — unpolished, completely “bare bones”, and don’t require a pretty face, a generously-stamped passport, or a naturally charismatic personality.

Those attributes are all okay.

And you’d be a fool not to use them if you got them.

But you won’t need them.

Instead, I teach a very specific branding ideology I starting using over 20 years ago to go from a broke nobody with zero influence who couldn’t make a sale if my life depended on it… to having a thriving publishing company with a passionate fanbase of high-quality, and eager-to-buy, and sometimes even “berserker”-like customers. I believe my “Brand Barbarian” book can possibly help certain other businesses do the same. And, I believe it can possibly help those certain other businesses do it no matter which media they prefer using.

Whatever the case, here’s the deal:

It’s on sale for 30% off until tomorrow at midnight (EDT).

(Tomorrow being Friday, July 23)

P.S. If you are interested in buying this, please read the sales letter very carefully before pulling the trigger. Especially the P.S. about the "overlapping" info.

Don’t just click, add to cart, and purchase blindly on impulse.

Especially since, more than any other product I sell, this book is not intended for most — or even very many — people in my Horde, for reasons that will be obvious when you finish reading the sales letter.
