Yeesh.
It was particularly cringeworthy when one of my subscribers pointed out out his inventory that was about to be destroyed along with his office… was a lot of digital products.
That’s one helluva hurricane if it can even destroy eBooks!
The point:
For all the flack Mr. Cardone no doubt took for that sale, it probably made him a huge bundle of money. Not only because of who his marketing appeals to, and not only because it was a 90% off sale… but because of something… else.
Something he does like a champ.
And while it does not “work” on everyone, and while the way he does it turns the stomach of a lot of marketers I know… I can’t argue with the guy’s success at it.
Or the sheer number of Berserker Customers he has.
It’s a theme that runs through the entire July “Email Players” issue.
The issue does not mention ol’ GC.
But it does talk about some other people & organizations tapping into what he does.
Something that can make your emails & other ads — as proven by the hurricane sale ad — powerful, and pull sales… even if they don’t deserve it.
