How to create frothing-at-mouth hordes of “Berserker” customers

Published: Fri, 06/25/21

Last few years I’ve been using a term that fits my righteous Horde.

You can see it used in several of my emails, books, and even in the name of our upcoming email platform. It’s a term Stefania whipped up way back in 2017 to describe my most passionate customers who want to buy everything I sell, promote everything I sell on my behalf, & advocate my every idea.

And that term is…

“Berserker Customers”

Berserker Customers are your extremists.

The ones who, while you may not even like all of them, are out there “berserking” hard on your behalf in the marketplace. Not just buying from you in droves. But making it almost like a virtue to buy from you & indoctrinate the world with your brand… while mocking, picking fights with, and (on the really extreme side) using threats of canceling, doxxing, or even violence against those who don’t.

I don’t condone those last parts, of course.

But it can & does happen on rare occasions I have noticed.

Whatever the case:

There is simply no better kind of customer than a Berserker Customer in my experience. And recently I decided it was high time I teach how to start getting these kinds of customers using email, or any marketing media you use.

My preference is email, of course.

But what I teach about this transcends media.

And it can apply to and be used in anything and everything you market with — whether text sales letters, VSL’s, mobile apps, social media posts, videos, audios, articles, embedded inside info products, and even when you do your customer service (I certainly do), give talks, do trainings, appear on podcasts, and the list goes on and on and on.

It’s not the media that matters.

It’s the strategy & principle behind creating Berserker customers that counts.

And I teach one extremely powerful such strategy & principle in the July Email Players issue.

July is my birthday month.

And, thus, each July I like to teach something especially valuable.

This puppy is no different in this regard.
