How even self-neutered advertising makes fortunes
Published: Sat, 05/29/21
In late 2018 when I first wanted to move back to the town I live in now, Stefania did some leg work for me. And she started by calling the most-advertised real estate agent.
The response?
It was literally as if nobody answered the phone.
Purely useless.
Worst real estate agent response I ever heard. Yet… she’s the #1 real estate agent in her company in the entire state, even though she lives and sells in the same jerk water county I live in with less than 30k people total. And this is the case even though her ads don’t “say” anything but how to contact her.
How does she get away with it?
The money quote:
===
… the $25,000 she spends a month in marketing to get her name, professionally posed headshot and contact details in front of potential buyers and sellers is what sets her apart from brokers who don’t spend as much time marketing their services.
==
Let’s see:
$25k in marketing = $64 million in real estate sales.
Many lessons in this.
One of which is just putting out advertising consistently.
And while in some cases (like above) it doesn’t have to be particularly good advertising — just being at the right place, with the right message, to the right people, at the right time can move the proverbial mountains for your business.
Just imagine if her ads actually did any selling…
Which brings me to the June “Email Players” issue.
It’s all about the process, structures, & steps for writing ads that pull lots and lots of sales.
Including info I have never taught anywhere else.
(Not even in my gigantic Copy Slacker book, which will not-so-coincidentally be on sale next month.)
The deadline to subscribe in time to get it is coming up quick.
