The “Hail Mary Pass” email secret for launching new offers
Published: Mon, 05/31/21
Bullets.
But, more specifically, the last email, which often contains nothing but a ton of bullets right from the sales letter. Like, for example, when we launched Learnistic last year. The last email was just the section of the sale letter with the bullets listed in the email. It worked astonishingly well to pull in last minute fence sitters to get their test drive.
It’s like a “Hail Mary Pass” in football.
I'm doing it next week on a software launch.
I’ll probably do it with our next launch after that, too.
I’ve also done it with certain informational type offers.
The key is learning how to write bullets.
A mystery to a lot of people.
If it’s something you want help with, the June Email Players issue does not teach bullet writing per se. But what I do is show you an example of a bullet chiseled out of an entire page of content so you can study, examine, and see how you can do the same with your offers. This is something I did many years ago after hearing some of the top A-list copywriters talk about how they would do the same with, for example, Gene Schwartz ads. They would buy the book his ad sold, look up the page number, and then analyze that page and the bullet, trying to figure out how Gene did it.
This horrifies those who hate thinking and cling to checklists.
But it is what it is.
Here’s what else is what it is:
The deadline to get the June Email Players issue.
Which is just as soon as I get around to sending it to the printer today.
