Rise of the copywriting sex robots

“Move aside Spielberg! COMPUTERS could soon write film scripts by analysing popular movie tropes including 'Dramatic Unmask' and 'Face Framed in Shadow’”
The gist of it was this:
* Some Spanish researchers identified over 25,000 tropes by looking at IMDB and TVTrope data.
* They plan to “feed” this data into a machine
* This machine’s AI will then write the scripts, dialogue, etc
Well, good luck with that, chaps.
It’s not like Hollywood has put anything good out in a long time anyway.
And I doubt they will any time soon with their emphasis on executive-mandated wokeness checkboxes over story and talent. My prediction is, it’ll have about as much use for moviemaking as the copywriting sex robots (i.e., A.I. that “writes” headlines, bullets, emails, etc out of data from other ads) does for copywriters when all is said and done. I seriously doubt anyone is going to create a billion dollar movie franchise recycling tropes using A.I. any more than the lazy goo-roo fanboy fapping to his swipe file is going to create a series of A-list level controls recycling headlines and copy that worked at a specific time to a specific market in a specific circumstance.
We shalt see.
In the meantime:
The June “Email Players” issue is all about copywriting. And, specifically, ways to write copy that brings in lots and lots of sales no software can even begin to compete with.
Nothing I teach in this issue is for the lazy & the stupid, though.
Which pretty much eliminates 99% of goo-roo fanboys.
And, probably a good whack of others trying to write sales copy.
Whatever the case, the deadline to get this issue is coming up soon.
