Unrestricted social media warfare

Or, as I like to call ‘em NEPCs.
But, there’s a huge, very powerful, and outright explosively profitable lesson contained within I believe just about anyone on my list at this point of time will be able to run with.
To preface, I want to quote a passage from a book called:
“Unrestricted Warfare”
It was written by two Chinese military strategists way back in the 90’s, about the newest kind of warfare China has been using to spank the West with for a long time without us realizing it.
Here is how the authors explain it in the preface:
“…the new principles of war are no longer ‘using armed forces to compel the enemy to submit to one’s will,’ but rather are ‘using all means, including armed force or non-armed force, military and non-military, and lethal and non-lethal means to compel the enemy to accept one’s interests’.”
The entire book is about just that.
And it has astonishing implications for not just military warfare, but also what I call:
“6G Marketing Warfare”
The entire April “Email Players” issue (no longer for sale) was all about this.
Here’s how I explained it in that issue:
“What that means is, marketing & business-building that is unrestricted by the usual rules, principles, tactics, and dogma of traditional sales & marketing. That potentially utilizes everyone, every place, and everything on the planet as ‘salesmen’ — without them necessarily even knowing it — to win sales & marketshare, not unlike Fifth-generation military warfare does to win wars without its ‘soldiers’ necessarily even knowing it. That levels the playing field in ways mere superior marketing, superior offer, superior brand recognition, superior marketplace positioning, & superior cashflow can’t. And that also is far more inoculated against the effects of big government, big tech, big media, and other big business forces always looking for ways to silence, oppress, and outright destroy the small business entrepreneur daring to compete.”
Like I said earlier:
This won’t make quite as much sense to NEPCs.
But hopefully everyone else gets the basic gist of it.
Which brings me to something I teach in my new Social Lair book that I call:

And while I was sort of making things up as I went along at the time as far as applying the idea, in hindsight I was doing — from a marketing perspective — a lot of what the writers of Unrestricted Warfare describe as 5th Generation Warfare.

There was little actual direct “fighting” by me.
But, at the same time, I won a whole lot of battles.
Which led to a whole lot of engagement.
Which led to a whole lot of new business over time.
