The soy boy vs the bad boy

Published: Thu, 04/29/21

If you want to conquer & pillage in the client-acquisition game, then look no further than the following two actors.

The first a famous bad boy in show business.

The second is probably the biggest soy boy in Hollywood today.

Guy #1 is the late, great Steve McQueen.

He was probably the single least Needy man of his day, was the single highest paid & most in-demand actor of his day at the height of his career (he charged $50,000 just to LOOK at a script, if that tells you something), and was one of those rare birds who lived a life of adventure, speed (nobody could tell if he was an actor who raced cars or a race car driver who acted), and excitement — all 100% on his own terms, with millions of women (to this day) and fans still obsessed with him.

Guy #2 is Robert Pattinson.

He’s going to play Batman next year.

And he’s probably the exact opposite of Steve McQueen in every way.

Not only in his life of non-adventure (didn’t even workout during the lockdowns, which posed a problem for his stuntmen, apparently), but there is a story about him I would not be shocked at all if it was true, where he was so lonely one day, he decided to talk to one his stalkers, only to freak his own stalker out and scare her away.

Yeesh.

No small feat.

What does this have to do with business?

I am glad you asked, Spanky.

There are 3 things both actors have in common that have also made them both two of the top names in their industry. Three things that can make the soy boy as rich and famous (in time) as the bad boy. Three things that can be used by amateur and newbie freelancers (and, really, any kind of business owner) to help be as successful as seasoned pros who’ve been in the game for years.

I talk about all this in way more detail in the May “Email Players” issue.

Very powerful stuff.

And those wise enough to be subscribed before tomorrow’s deadline will know it.

There ain't much time left, Pokey, if you want in.
