How even newbie freelancers can stand out like a fart in study hall

One more tip about getting clients.

And, really, any kind of customer if you adapt it correctly.

The short version of this tip is:

Create your own style at doing whatever it is you do.

Whether it’s writing, consulting, coaching, whatever it is — you have a style.

The question is, does anyone care or notice?

Chances are the answer is no.

But, if you want to see how it’s done right, study how Todd McFarlane did it.

He is one of the most famous comicbook artists who ever lived. And he broke in to the comicbook artist industry, and ultimately became a household name with a $300 million toy company by taking this exact advice about style you just read, and then applying what you will learn (that I admittedly learned by studying his career) in the May “Email Players” issue to whatever it is you do in your business.

For now, I’ll leave you with this unpopular opinion.

An opinion, it turns out, that just happens to be a fact:

People don’t hire you just for skill, but also for your style.

This goes for why people buy info products, software, supplements, toys, houses, cars, and just about anything else for sale.

You can read about how to find your style in the May issue.

That is, if you get your booty in gear.

I am sending it to the printer tonight as soon as I get around to it.
