Bow & worship fear or suffer the fate of the heretic

Published: Wed, 03/31/21

Such is the choice foisted upon many businesses each day.

Specifically, by the news-masters and social media mobs.

One of my favorite examples of this is from a tweet one of my customers forwarded to me a few months ago from someone with a now-suspended account (so shocking!) — that was cancelled no doubt for thinking the wrong thoughts about the pandemic, and encouraging others to do the same.

Luckily my opinion of Twitter was sufficiently low that I saved it.

And now, I present it for your thinking:

===

Those who are afraid believe they are morally superior to those who are not afraid. They worship fear, beg for lockdowns, get in the face of those who do not wear mask, and look for ways to multiply their fear because fear is their virtue.

===

You could apply this to many media-created fears.

Today it’s a politically-charged virus with its very own international marketing department.

Tomorrow?

It’ll be something else.

This phenomenon is as old as humanity.

Whatever the case, here’s a better idea than making a cult & virtue out out fear:

Build a cult & virtue out of courage instead.

You can do so by inspiring, leading, and protecting those you sell to. And if you are afraid of being cancelled by whatever big tech platforms you rely on by doing so, then you’ll have to sack up and use the information on pages 13-14 in the April Email Players issue especially aggressively.

The entire issue is about what I have dubbed "Sixth-generation marketing warfare."

I won't go into too much detail about that here, for obvious reasons.

So for now, I’ll just say this:

You are at war in business whether you want it or not or know it or not.

Proceed accordingly.

You can prep for & start winning this war via the info inside the April issue.

The deadline to get this issue is today.
