2 “back door” list building methods that can make you one lucky son of a business
Published: Tue, 02/23/21
I’m teaching some things about list building in the March “Email Players” issue that I believe can make anyone who use what's inside luckier than the law of averages ought to allow.
Yes, I am talking about “manufacturing” your own luck.
And doing it by learning 2 ways to build a fat, responsive email list full of winners and referrers, as opposed to losers and lazy bums who, even if they do buy, can’t be bothered to consume/use what they paid for.
The first of the 2 ways is fast, seductive, & has a definite hard monetary cost to it.
i.e., it’ll cost you some dough.
Maybe even a lot of dough.
But if you have some dough to spend on traffic and list building, and if you’re the impatient type, and if you don’t want to diddle around with conventional paid advertising methods and giving big tech companies who have repeatedly demonstrated they hate you (if you’ve been paying attention) your money… I think it’s just about perfect.
Especially since you can’t be “de-platformed” from this paid method.
The other of the 2 methods?
Is more of a “slow burn” way.
And it’s also multi-part, too — that takes time and lots of patience and work. Which is why it’s only going to appeal to long term, ambitious, and gung-ho types. The types who make far more of the green stuff than the impatient types, I’ve noticed.
Lesson there…
Certainly, I prefer backdoor list building way #2.
But many won’t.
“Too slow!” they’ll shriek.
Yet, in my experience, the only people shrieking about a list-building method being “too slow!” are the blue light specials haunting social media all day but still only have 23 people on their list.
Either way, at least you’ll have options.
The deadline to get the March issue is coming up quick.
