Why only amateurs & newbies think you "need" social media to build an email list

Published: Fri, 03/19/21

A couple years ago I deleted all my social media... after being on various accounts for over 10 years.

And since then, I’ve had zero social media interaction on those sites.

Over this time, a few people — nearly all of them millennials, who foolishly seem to think direct marketing was invented on social media — have asked:

“How are you building your list without social media???”

The short answer:

By doing things people did to build their lists before social media.

It's okay to use it, if you want.

But only amateurs buy into "needing" social media for list-building.

Yes, your pal & daily email horror host has used paid ads from Facebook, Twitter, and Google to build my list in the past. And, I have gotten many leads doing so. But, their quality was always sub-par at best, and paled in comparison to the leads I get now. And, I am in zero danger of being de-platformed by those companies, too, or needing to follow their ever-changing and idiotic rules.

If anything, I can “siphon” away the best quality leads from those platforms, free.

And, without spending a red cent doing it.

All of which I talk about in my “Email Players List Swell” book.

It’s slow (even agonizingly slow to anyone lacking patience), takes a lot of “elbow grease” to make work, and is not at-all scalable… but my old-school list-building methods have allowed me to build what I believe is one of the most responsive lists in my industry, with plenty of experiences and testimonials to back up why I say that.

There ain’t anything “new” in this book.

So new product junkies reading can put their John Thomas’s back in their pants.

But, I do have what I believe is a unique twist on many common list-building methods.

Here’s the deal:

Until Sunday 3/21 at midnight EST it’s discounted $150.00 off the listed price.

After that, I’m giving the book a long overdo price raise.

So to get this discount before I raise the regular price after that, do this:
