Why it’s a waste of time to sell to buyers

A quote for your reading displeasure:

“The key distinction between a business and a promotion is a business has customers while a promotion has buyers. Customers are people who make it a custom to buy from you. In other words, they come back again and again. Mere buyers come and go.”

That ditty is from Ken McCarthy’s magnificent “System Club Letters” book.

Yes, I fully realize Ken’s definition is not “dictionary-accurate.”

But it’s 1000% real life-accurate.

Which brings us to the money-shot question:

How do you get customers making it a custom to buy from you?

Answer:

Selling a high-quality subscription offer, of course.

Repeat buying is “built-in” with subscriptions, after all.

Hence the $20 Subscription Biz offer I’ll be prattling on about all weekend to the point of sheer obnoxiousness. It’s 15+ hours of teaching about building subscription businesses — including how to find customers vs mere buyers regardless of which of the 4 subscription models it teaches you want to run with.

The deadline is Sunday 3/7 at midnight EST.

I don’t recommend procrastinating if you want it at this ridiculous price.
