Book editor reveals the key to unlimited business success

On the surface it will look like it’s talking about guys.
But it’s talking directly to any business owner — man or woman.
See if you can catch the lessons:

"UGH!"
In true teenage-girl from, my middle daughter makes her dramatic entrance into the kitchen where I'm editing my life away.
She drops her phone on the table and says:
"I don't need to be constantly validating someone."
I look up from my laptop.
She says:
"We were having this text conversation, and it was going great, and then he asked me, 'Am I annoying you?'
(She mocks his tone: 'Validate me!')
Ew.
No.
I'll pass.
Mom, confidence is key. It's what makes guys attractive.
If he wants validation, then he can go somewhere else--because that's gross.
It's gross and unattractive.
Am I bothering you? Validate me!
Gross.
I'm done."
That happened about an hour ago. Thought you'd appreciate it.

P.S. Her favorite superhero is IronMan, by the way.
Gonna have to get those Villains of Persuasion books into the hands of the next generation, elBenbo. Or this girl might be single for life.

Lori also added:
“Turns out, my ideal clients are those who have had tough coaches (professional athletes, for example). They exude confidence. And, as my 14-year-old daughter says, "Confidence is key. It's the most attractive thing about a guy. If you want validation, then go somewhere else--because that's just gross.”
Lots of lessons in this between the lines, on top of the lines, and under the lines.
I hope you caught them all...
