The most horrifying persuasion lesson I can never "unsee"

It was one of those things you can’t “un-see.”
And, even now, I get a bit grossed out at the mere thought of it.
Here’s what happened:
The article was about a family in Indonesia that doesn’t bury, cremate, or dispose of their dead. Instead, they keep them around even as their flesh rots away, the stench permeates their homes, and even at the risk of all the health problems that can happen when you don’t dispose of a corpse. The article was full of images so deranged they make my Enoch Wars novels look like Sesame Street.
Like, for example:
They keep the rotting corpse of a young daughter at the supper table.
And a long-deceased uncle sitting around at the family picnic, with a pair of sunglasses on and a cigarette in his mouth.
And… and… actually, I’ll just leave it at that.
The images were so horrifying I suspect many people got sick just looking at them.
So why am I bringing this up?
Because it’s an example of what creating Vision can do to someone. When you know how to create Vision in others — for good or bad — you can make what you say something that can't be un-seen. In business, this can mean creating a Vision of a lifestyle, outcome, or goal so clear and visible in your prospect’s brain, they sometimes cannot sleep or concentrate on anything else until they buy your product or do whatever it is you wish them to do.
