The king of continuity

One of the 2 or 3 biggest “Duh, elBenbo, you idiot!” moments in bid’niz was about 9 years ago when I heard the man universally called “The World’s Greatest Living Copywriter” (the great Gary Bencivenga) talk about how wealth was an income stream.

It’s something one of his clients once told him.

And, he used the Gillette razors inventor (King Gillette) as an example.

It broke down like this:

Back in the day, travelers used to shave with a straight razor when traveling by train. Apparently, some schlubs would be shaving with that nasty straight razor and slit their own throats when the train jostled.

The kind of cuts a dab of toilet paper couldn’t fix.

King Gillette’s solution?

He invented the modern day razor with the guard, etc.

And, he realized that people only got so many uses out of those razors and so had to periodically buy new ones — basically “annuitizing” his income and sales as people would renew over and over and over.

Thus:

He was one of the first sellers of continuity.

A very powerful thing to build your business around.

Very profitable, too.

And, very simple to set up if you know how.

Enter the “Good Cop, Bad Cop, Insane Cop” workshop I’m doing with my droogies Ryan Lee (who has been selling membership sites for 18 years), Dan Meredith (one of the pioneers of monetizing paid Facebook groups), and Yours Unruly who has been selling my own print newsletters for almost 8 years.

We’ll be showing exactly how we do continuity.

How you can to do the same.

And, how to do it without huge learning curves.

The place:

New York.

The day:

Saturday, February 4th.

The price:

So inexpensive even a bum rattling change on a busy New York street corner could probably make enough to attend.

Anyway, we have 80 seats total.

And, we’re down to less than 20 left.

If you want in, go here immediately:

P.S. This workshop will NOT be recorded.

So be there or be nowhere…
