6 ways elBenbo’s trust issues kill his own profits

Published: Sun, 12/04/16

I’ve been doing some pondering lately about all the ways I sabotage myself having a more profitable business.

You might even relate to some of these.

Let's see:

1. Not having an assistant (Holding me back: I gotta train 'em, then trust 'em to do everything right — and elBenbo has trust issues…)

2. Sell Misty the podcast announcer babe (the only one I *would* trust to perform such a noble deed) on writing emails selling my Email Players subscribers one of my other products each day and paying her a % of the sales (Holding me back: this is just pathetic of me, but I'd have to log in to my shopping cart and send it each day… which I hate doing… couldn't be bothered... I’d have an assistant do it but, see trust issues again…)

3. Send more direct mail to my buyers (Holding me back: lack of motivation -- I *should* be on this like white on rice, but, meh)

4. Accept PayPal for “Email Players” (Holding me back: Keith Commins my web guy — who I *do* trust — says if I use PayPal for recurring payments, I have to have that be my main merchant account gateway with the system I use — something like that. Plus, I inherently — admittedly irrationally, it's nothing personal — distrust people who can’t get a regular credit card these days as far as them being ideal Email Player subscribers, although I get there are some legitimate reasons for certain countries)

5. Have someone call new "Email Players" subscribers to welcome them into my unrighteous fold, and offer them some kind of deal on something (Holding me back: Lack of motivation to train anyone, and trusting someone to do it right, see #1 above)

6. Refusing to do freelancing, coaching, or consulting (Holding me back: I don’t enjoy it, despite people offering to fly all the way to where I am at in the boonies to spend a day getting their learn on at my unrighteous toes -- although I am starting to reconsider this if people come to me, we'll see...)

There are more ways than this.

(This ‘taint no exhaustive list by any means.)

I can already hear the sound of certain eager beavers on my list madly typing their little hearts out with advice to try and “fix” my trust issues above, or offering to do those things for me or whatever, pitching me the benefits on why THEY are *perfect* for the job. Which is a terrible way to get yourself hired, btw. Every time you make a claim about yourself without pre-framing it correctly first, you create an objection (something next month's January "Email Players" issue teaches you how to do, not-so-coincidentally...)

Anyway, if that's you, don’t.

I won’t even read it.

Why?

Because, I don’t trust unsolicited advice or offers for help, either…

(Ain’t I gaggle of rainbows today?)

Plus, I have a point in telling you this:

Despite how my trust issues get in my own way day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year, I still have a more-than-profitable bid’niz for my needs, with very little stress (for the most part, there are always hiccups), and lots of time to pursue other interests — like writing novels or taking road trips or doing whatever.

Most businesses have a hard time not having to hustle.

And could never get away with my aloofness towards low hanging fruit income on the table.

If they don’t hustle, their business suffers.

If they don’t trust people (often blindly) to do certain tasks, they have to work 80+ hours per week.

Me?

I don’t hustle, I still end up a little better off each month than the last.

(Most months, it ebbs and flows…)

And it’s all because of my 10-Minute Workday system.

A system I can teach you, too, if you are willing to do *exactly* as I command, work on it every day, and set things up as I outline in the 10-Minute Workday program I am selling via AWAI for a huge discount until midnight tonight EST.
