Disturbing Facebook ads
Published: Mon, 03/28/16
Once upon a time, I was at an event in Phoenix speaking, and got together with my pal Shane Hunter to help give some of the attendees tips on making their Facebook ads better. One of the Facebook ads we analyzed went like this:
* Picture of a baby
* Asks if the reader wants more reps (for MLM)
* Call to action
Shane and I called nah on that one.
The advertiser needed to go darker.
More disturbing.
And, more *scary*.
My advice?
Change the copy to "why does this creepy man smile every time you drop your child off at daycare?" (For some reason that guy didn't want to have dinner with me and Shane that night when we invited him... heh.)
Anyway, the point?
I’m a firm believer in disturbing people onto a list when it makes sense.
Yes, I know a lot of people don’t have the stomach for it.
But, you know what?
Don’t knock it til you try it.
I mean, who knows?
You might even *like* it…
What?
You don’t even want to try disturbing people?
Okay then, here’s another idea:
The April “Email Players” issue is ALL about building a big email list of leads. These leads are free, too. But, unlike most free leads, these free leads tend to not be tire kickers and time wasters. Instead, they are often extremely high quality (even higher quality than paid leads), and already are “sold” on you (and, possibly even your product) before they even opt in.
Want leads like this?
And, do you want to start generating them fast?
Then subscribe here before it goes to the printer Friday:
