How to get "un-stuck" when writing ads and emails

Often (too often) at my Wing Chun Kung Fu lessons, I ask,

"Sifu, how do I
apply this movement
in a real life fight
situation…"

My wise, "Yoda-like" teacher says:

"The answer is
in the form"

The form being a series of movements I practice daily.

(Both on my training dummy, and via mirror).

And you know what?

This is also a multi-million dollar marketing/copywriting lesson
too (if you are wise enough to see it, and not blow it off due to
its simplicity). Because, you see, it's the exact same when one of
my "Email Players" subscribers asks something like:

"Ben! What words should I use in this headline???"

"Ben! What kind of offers should I use???"

"Ben! How should I write a story for this???"

Yada yada yada…

My reply?

"The answer is
in the market."

Example:

Just yesterday I was helping my ex-copywriting apprentice (who I
seem to help more now than when she was formally my apprentice,
maybe it's because she's less defiant? Hmm…) with an ad she's
writing.

What did I do?

I walked her through the market.

(Via the answers her client gave her to some very specific
questions I used to send clients to suck out all kinds of gold
about their market like snake venom from a wound)

In the end?

She said "Ben you are a GENIUS at this!"

To which I simply replied:

"Correct..."

Anyway, when stuck remember:

The answer is always in the market.

Look to yon market and you can't lose.
