How feminists graciously helped build my business

A couple weeks ago, I wrote an email with the subject line:

“elBenbo looks out for the feminists”

The email was about a woman with some community college business course experience so fed up with the male patriarchy and capitalism running the business world, she decided to start a feminist business school to fight masculine capitalism. And, according to the news article, she said it’s much better to have businesses run on feminine traits — like mindfulness, gratitude, and generosity, to promote the “redistribution of money and power” (exact quote) — than it is to have businesses run on masculine traits — like individualism, speed, and efficiency.

Anyway, I didn’t attack feminists or feminism at all in that email.

I simply repeated what the woman in the article said.

And then, I suggested an alternative:

i.e. the 3-step business plan I use myself.

But guess what?

The fact I didn't attack anyone didn’t stop a self-described strong feminist (but not a troll, she was civil and respectful) telling me to, “expect a little push back when you use the ‘off’ message to attack feminism in general.”

I found the “pushback” part especially amusing.

(She must be new around here…)

And it reminded me of an adventure I had where I profited quite a bit from some feminists after I posted a... a... (oh noes!) joke on Facebook, and, right on cue, was immediately labeled a misogynist, sexist, an asshole, and so on.

It made for some mighty fine entertainment, too.

And, it also turned into some mighty fine profits for my business.

In fact, because of the way I reacted (which I tell the story about in my "Copy Troll" book) I racked up almost 100 new opt-ins over those few days, and got around 10 new “Email Players” subscribers during those adventures.

Which brings me to the rub:

A lot of people are trolled, attacked, and lied about every day.

They just aren't getting paid for it...

If you want to be one of the few who knows how to get paid when it happens to your business, then check out “Copy Troll” which is on sale at a $100.00 discount until midnight (EST) tonight.
