Anatomy of a successful book launch

Published: Mon, 01/14/19

Recently, I launched my latest book “Super Villains of Persuasion.”

And, the things that made it work apply not just to Amazon books, but any kind of product you want to launch.

First, some numbers over the 4 day launch... we got:

* 1,104 Kindle sales

* 74 paperback sales

* Well over 100 sales of my first Villains book (many people bought both together)

* A gaggle of other sales from my other books on Amazon

These aren’t gigantic goo-roo numbers by any means.

But for my modest-sized list, the fact I didn’t use any gimmicks involving JV partners and their bonuses, and for spending about 3 hours (give or take) gleefully pounding out what were easily the most fun batch of 15 emails I’ve ever written (all those years of mindlessly reading comic books finally paid off…), it ain’t too shabby.

Especially when factoring in the many other “intangible” benefits, too.

Like, for example, a much stronger bond with my customers.

My books more solidly ranked on Amazon’s platform.

Another new lead source (I get many leads from my Amazon books).

Creating another reliable, long-term income stream.

And the list goes on.

There are many benefits to doing an Amazon launch the way I did mine this past weekend — both financial and long term business-building related. And while it’s easy to observe what I did on the surface, there’s an entire psychology and system behind exactly how I use plain old “retro” emails to launch products, dominate other affiliates, and create cash flow practically on demand via special sales.

It’s what my Affiliate Launch Copynomicon book is all about.

And guess what?

In honor of this last book launch's success, I’m going to be letting people have this obnoxiously expensive book at a $200 discount until this Friday, January 18th at 11:59 pm EST.
