The secret of the so-called “Seinfeld email”

"The Seinfeld Email"
It was made popular by the great Russell Brunson far as I can tell, in his excellent book Dotcom Secrets. I think he also credits Yours Unruly with creating it, as I am the first to my knowledge to ever have written about it waaaaay back in 2012 in an issue of my “Email Players” newsletter.
Anyway, here’s why I am prattling on about it:
The Seinfeld email is a solid type of email to write.
But, it’s the kind I write when I’m not super concerned by sales.
I think they are great for bonding with your list, since humor helps make people feel better about you (entertainers are often higher status by default in our celebrity-obsessed culture). And, they are based on a special flavor of humor used by guys like Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, and Mel Brooks that is some of the best humor out there for emails in my humble, but accurate, opinion
Plus, they’re fun to write.
And, if you have the personality for it, easy to write, too.
But, here’s the rub:
They are not the kind of emails that will usually bring you a lot of sales, in my experience. So if you are writing them every day, don’t be shocked if you don’t get a lot (or any) sales.
Anyway, that’s my take on them.
To learn far more profitable ways to write emails people look forward to reading and buying from, hightail it on over to:

P.S. Welcome to all the (literally) hundreds of new subscribers who have joined my email asylum over the past couple days. You're most likely here because of a list-building method I am teaching in obnoxious detail in the February "Email Players" issue next month for getting not only some of the highest quality leads you can get, but get them without spending any money whatsoever to get them.
I'll talk more about that later this month.
Fun times ahead...
