How even Super Villains of ill repute win trust

Something to ponder:
The King of Hell/King of the Crossroads demon Crowley (from the TV show Supernatural) isn’t just a great Super Villain of Persuasion because of his ability to plot, scheme, and lead. But also, because he has the one attribute every Villain must have in order to win and maintain loyalty, trust, and credibility in the eyes of a public programmed to be ruthlessly skeptical of Villains.
(And this includes business owners in the age of ruthless skepticism of business.)
An attribute used by other vile and nasty Villains to be trusted, too.
Like, for example:
* The Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood
* Don Corleone in “The Godfather”
* Bad guy Beetroot McKinley in “Twins”
* The violent, sociopath gangster Jimmy Conway in “Goodfellas”
* And even Skeletor — specifically in the Christmas movie of the old “He-Man And the Masters of the Universe” cartoon
They each shared this powerful attribute for winning trust.
Yes, even though there is nothing “trustworthy” about them.
In fact, this powerful attribute makes them (their evil, sociopathic, and often megalomaniacal actions notwithstanding) far more trustworthy, credible, and persuasive than many heroes and other so-called “good guys.”
I can tell you this, too:
Apply this attribute to your life and your sales copy becomes more credible.
As does your brand, too.
You can even win the credibility of people who, quite frankly, hate your guts.
Anyway, the details on this are in chapter 5 of my new book:
“Super Villains of Persuasion”
