What an ultra-successful email campaign smells like

Quick testimonial for ya:
Just finished up a product launch with one long-term client. It was a pretty organic/unstructured process - he announced the offer via FB live videos on day one and two, pumped up the replays for another 3 days, then I followed up with 2xdaily emails to his list for another 2 weeks.
I’ve managed his list for years, and been sending daily emails the entire time... but I’ve always been hesitant to send more than one a day... and we definitely saw the results of doing more (the lowest day of sales was $1k on day 16 - besides that, it was anywhere from $3k to $7k per day)
To top it off, I followed your “last day affiliate promo” strategy from EP Issue #74, and brought in $22,500 in the final 24 hours - which was more than ANY other day in the entire 18 days we promoted the product.
All this from a list of under 6,000 subscribers.
Looks like you’re pretty much right on with this daily email tomfoolery you’re always ranting about ;-)
Only thing you were wrong about... was in Issue #74 where you said to “expect blowback”...
We didn’t get a single complaint on the last day (even though I mailed 8 or 9 times).
Perhaps its an anomaly, but I really do believe that years of sending daily emails with the clear voice/personality created a such deep enough bond with our audience over time, that all I had to do to avoid pissing them off was add one P.S. on the second to last day telling them to expect some extra emails.
Pretty amazing, compared to other clients I’ve written packages for who expect to receive hate mail on a daily basis ;-)
Anyways, I hope this warms your cold, black little heart.
Just ordered your new program. Looking forward to going through it when it arrives!

Sheesh.
It’s almost like this stuff works.
Anyway, time’s all but up to get the April issue.
I’m sending it to the printer tomorrow.
