The oldest persuasion secret never told

Recently, one of my customers was telling me how frustrated he was getting copywriting and coaching clients.

He was doing things like:

* Going around town to his local businesses

* Advertising in forums and facebook group job boards

* Spending a lot of money on travel and lodging to hang out at marketing seminars and hanging around the bars

* Offering to do free critiques for people

* And the list went on

None of these things were really working for him, though.

And, when they did, he got paid peanuts, basically, and was treated like an idiot whose ideas were never taken all that seriously.

Anyway, he asked for my advice.

My answer?

Sell to buyers.

It’s the oldest persuasion “secret” in the world.

But, it’s much easier (and you’ll get paid much more, with a lot less effort, hassle and shenanigans) to sell people what they are already buying vs something you have to convince them they need to buy.

Which is what makes my Email Client Machine work.

It’s not about convincing anyone to hire you.

It’s about positioning yourself so you give them the opportunity to hire you.

Doing that changes the whole game.

You go from begging to get hired to clients coming to you, hat in hand, asking if you are taking clients, and wanting to hire you and only you (even if they can afford better writers — happened to me many times doing what I teach inside it).
