People walking around umbilical cord in hand, wanting to plug it into you

Last week on Twitter a guy called IV:XX VP Hotep Doobs‏ said:

“If you’re a man over 25 with a vision, you will have young men gravitating towards you. Embrace them and help them wherever you can. A lot of times these guys grew up fatherless and just want that guidance from a male figure. Be that.”

Which got me to thinking about two things:

1. There’s a lot of young people (and, also, older people starting over) wandering around with umbilical cord in hand (as the great Dan Kennedy once said), looking for somewhere to plug it in.

If you sell success or business-related products/services there's an opportunity to be that person.

Serve them well, bring them up right, and they'll stay with you forever.

2. If you're pursuing a Mission, you are also being watched very closely by people you will probably never meet. They will sometimes be your most rabid fans, customers, and source of referrals. They're also the ones you'll get a letter or email from some day out of the blue telling you how you or one of your products changed their lives.

My advice to you if you’re being watched:

Help you help them help yourselves...

If you don’t yet have a Mission/vision yet, despair ye not.

My Villains book has an entire chapter dedicated to the subject. Having a Mission is one of the most important (and profitable) things you can have.
